About me

I'm Mariano Chicatun, CEO and Co-founder of Pilot X, an AI/ML solutions company specializing in industrial operations. I also serve as AI Strategy Lead at Hospital Británico de Uruguay, leading comprehensive AI transformation programs for healthcare.

With a Master's in Big Data and over 7 years of experience, I've driven AI innovation across Oil & Gas, Steel Manufacturing, Mining, and Healthcare. My work spans clients like ArcelorMittal Acindar, Pan American Energy, PECOM, and Hospital Británico Uruguay.

My technical expertise includes time series analysis, physics-informed neural networks, industrial MLOps, and generative AI. At Pilot X, we're building Launchpad—a platform that automates the complete ML lifecycle for heavy industries. We also created Chiron.AI, a voice-first knowledge capture platform for industrial expertise.

I specialize in taking AI solutions from proof of concept to production, solving high-value problems like process optimization, predictive maintenance, intelligent operations, and clinical AI applications.
